New Life in Turkey
God is giving His blessings to our ministry and we travel and serve in neighbor countries like Turkey and Greece.
As you may know, Turkey has a population of 70 000 000 people, of which 99,99% are Moslems. Only 3 000 are Christians.
On our last trip, we served in Kushadasi (12 miles from Ephes) and Istanbul. God did so many miracles! We served in the church of pastor
Jordan Jordanidis whom we had sent a few years ago. The whole church enjoyed God's tangible presence. We heard great testimonies.
One of the newly-saved Turks had a vision of rivers flowing from Jesus’s hands towards the whole of Turkey. Others, after lying 30 minutes on the floor,
said they felt as if we had switched on the electricity in their bodies, which felt great.
God’s presence in Istanbul was so strong! We served in a local church where we felt the Holy Spirit moving in
a mighty way. People enjoyed Him and many received the powerful touching of God.

Greetings in the name of God from our whole family!
Two years have passed since we are affiliated with the Lighthouse Church in Izmir, Turkey. Really grateful to God that doors opened before us,
so we are incorporated as living stones in this local body to serve the Turks. The first few months we devoted to building trust and partnership with the church leaders. We quickly found many intersections in the doctrinal
aspect and found that we share the same values and beliefs.
Over the past ten years, God showed through various officials that Izmir will be a key city for revival in Turkey. It was exciting for us that God
brought us right there, in Izmir and helped us become fully informed about the activities, structure and ministries in the church as a whole.

In the beginning of February 2008, Lighthouse Church began work on establishing an educational program for new people, which includes initial
doctrinal course "A", like the Alpha Course, followed by "B" rate to apply in practice; Doctrinal Truths has a more practical focus and includes topics
such as prayer, fasting, studying the Bible etc. This training course ends with a rate of baptisms and christening of the new believers.
Jordan has the opportunity to serve with his gift of teacher and administrator for organizing and building new believers in these courses. We are
grateful that God protects those who are baptized and with few exceptions, these brothers and sisters are among us in the church.
Our family is exclusively focused on working with new people. A year and a half in response to frequent visits to our church from many local
people, we founded the Guest Table ministry. Lighthouse Church used the typical church architecture as the base for an Anglican church building which acted
as magnet and awoke the curiosity of hundreds in the recent months. The building is remarkable and in a good central location. As soon as the church doors
were opened, many local people come and want to see; some come with questions that cannot find satisfying answers in Islam and its tradition.
This is more of an opportunity to serve the Turks.
Our ministry is composed of three teams of a minimum of 4 persons. Every Sunday, one hour before the start of the service and one hour after its completion,
one of the teams meets with new people. We share the gospel and distribute the New Testament. We encourage people to read it explaining its credibility.
In the past year, we distributed more than 1000 New Testament books.
Kosy is part of the office team and does accounting work in the church as volunteer. God also opened doors for her to serve individually to some
Turkish women. Every week she meets a few ladies and teaches them and prays with them.
Our daughter Alex is 7-years-old and our son, Kalin, is 5. Both of them successfully adapted to Turkish schools, became accustomed with the language
and learned good habits at school.
Thank you for your love!
PLEASE PRAY FOR US:
- Support us in our prayers - the seeds that sowed good time to bear fruit! Amazing awakening and dared by the Turks to cross the threshold of the church
is new and hitherto unseen phenomenon in size, which happens. We believe that God has given time for each nation and Turkey is one of the few countries
in its history has not yet experienced revival.
- Christ is revealed to more and more Turks individually so that they understand that He is not only a prophet but God. Many people who come for the first
time before Christ to be found in a dream or vision.
- Spirit of God to unite us more like family to serve Him unanimously
- God provides us with financial partners in order to serve him without distraction of mind.
Blessings,
Jordan and Kostadinka Jordanidis
