New Life in Spain

Spain? God started to speak to us about Spain in 2006. In our prayers we were looking for signs to understand exactly what He wanted from us. And now the seed is growing…

Seven people from our church set off for Spain by van. The travel was long but when we are in God’s will there is no tiredness… Only 4 out of 13 nights did we sleep in beds, the rest we spent sleeping in the van …WooooWWW…

While traveling we prayed and read God’s word, and we found these words in Acts 20:1,2, '…, and embraced them…'.
We realized that God was using us to work in believers, too…

And so we had this opportunity in a Bulgarian church in Madrid. With tears in their eyes, people said how encouraged they were from the words of pastor Zhoro and the worship songs we sang.

We ministered in many places but we felt most excited when we found a group of poor people living in very bad conditions.
There was a woman whose son had died. We prayed for her though in the beginning she spoke against God. Later on, when Mariana spoke and hugged her with the love of God, hope came into this woman and she opened her heart. It was clear for us that we couldn’t play music and worship God, but people took us to a building where we had the chance to explain who we were and why we were there.

Everybody was touched to learn that they were the only reason we were there - to tell them that Jesus loved them, and that we had come from so far away just to hug them and give them the most precious thing in life - our Jesus… We shared the word of God, danced, sang, and rejoiced in His presence…

We left this place with satisfaction in our hearts that we did Dad’s will…
