Living a new life!

Founders and pastors of New Life Ministry - Sofia are Zhoro and Mariyana Penchev.

In 2000, together with their two children - Teodora and Petar, they responded to God’s call to create a spiritual home for believers in Jesus Christ, which will be lifting up the name of the Lord and help people experience spiritual renewal according to the Holy Word of God - the Bible.

Their hearts are burning with desire to reach those who do not know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, not only in the city of Sofia, but in the whole of Bulgaria and everywhere in the world. They rediscover and impart the deep revelation of the “new creation” in Jesus Christ.

Pastors Zhoro and Mariyana Penchev believe that the fellowship with God and between the believers in Jesus Christ will build up and equip Christians to do the will of God in times like these.
With care and love as parents, pastors Zhoro and Mariyana Penchev create an environment of freedom, acceptance, and respect for every human person. They encourage every God-given gift and talent to be developed and manifested.

Having spiritual maturity and experience, pastors Zhoro and Mariyana Penchev help for the restoration and building up of personalities and families in the Body of Christ. With a creative and innovative spirit they introduce the deep truths of The Holy Scripture. They lead the ministry into close, intimate fellowship with the Lord and into powerful praise and worship to His Name in spirit and in truth.

NEW! CHANGES IN THE MINISTRY

For 12 years, we used to serve as Assistant Pastors. Then, in 2000 God called us to found and pastor New Life Ministry but less than a year later we began to realize that our personal ministry’s goal is apostleship. That was confirmed when God sent us the Remzievi family whom we recognized as the future pastors of New Life.

Another seven years passed during which we shared with Assya and Remzi Remzievi what God was telling us. As they went through different challenges, they grew up in the Lord and we began to pray for the right moment of passing over the ministry to them.

We believe that 2008 is the year when the Remzievi are ready to take up the responsibility to serve as pastors of New Life Ministry. We remain apostles of New Life, and it will always remain our home.

Also, in 2007 God put a desire in our hearts to go to Thessaloniki, Greece and found a church there. We strongly believe in this; moreover, one of the families in our ministry have hearts of fire for the missionary field in Greece. So we are planning to go to Greece together and start a church in one of the poorest gypsy neighborhoods, and leave them to take care of the church. Thus, the joy of God will come upon those people free of religion…
