Living a new life!

New Life in Macedonia

In 2004, God brought to our ministry a Roma family which played a crucial part in our mission in Macedonia. Itcho is from Macedonia, Natasha is from Bulgaria (Macedonia and Bulgaria are neighbor countries), and they have two wonderful children. They all love God ardently.

When God began to lead us to go on mission trips and work among the poor, Itcho would tell us more than once that he was praying for God to put Macedonia in our hearts. One day, Itcho brought some friends from Macedonia to one of our regular services in Sofia, and this is how it all began…

Those Macedonians had heard about us bringing joy to people and were eager to have us in their homes. And so, a few weeks later, we hit the road to Skopje, Macedonia’s capital city.

We visited the family who invited us, but the Spirit revealed to us that God had a bigger plan for our stay there. Mitko, one of our worship leaders, had a vision of a river with a steep bridge across, and of people living by the bridge, in the junkyard of the city. Following his vision, we drove around the city until we saw a river. And as we turned one of the narrow streets nearby, we cried out with joy seeing the steep bridge rise in front of us! We jumped out of the van, and our eyes watered at the sight of those people waiting to be hugged by Jesus … Joyful celebration followed as we told them that God loved them and had sent us to reveal His love for them

Several trips followed and, to our great joy, God made miracles of healing every time! He healed a girl of 15 who had palsy and a speech impediment just by the hug of Jesus! The next time we saw that girl, she came running to hug us… Another 7-year-old girl was in hospital in peril of her life, but Dad is an incomparable doctor and He gave her life, too. Others were freed from the bondage of drugs; still others had their names written down in the Book of Life.

We believe that God has a lot more to do through us, His children, and we are eagerly awaiting what is to come next.

We are also grateful to all those who sow in us seeds of blessing! You are a great part of all this, and God acknowledges and delights in your answering His call!
